July is here, and the end of the rainy season is just around the corner.

On July 11 (Sat) – July 12 (Sun), we'll be hosting an event centered around Trousers.

For this occasion, we've gathered a selection of trousers with a focus on vintage pieces.

We hope to see you at daily store.

 

僕は、スタイリングもひとつの「編集」だと思っています。

その中でもTrousersは、数センチシルエットが変わるだけで、スタイリング全体の印象を大きく変えてくれるアイテムです。

どうしてもトップスが主役になりがちですが、特にメンズファッションはレディースほどアイテムの選択肢が多いわけではありません。

だからこそ、パンツの太さやシルエット、生地の色味や厚み、仕立て、ポケットのバランス、シングルかダブルか。
細かな違いに目を向けていくと、その組み合わせは本当に奥深いものだと感じます。

そういう小さな違いを積み重ねて、自分らしいスタイリングをつくっていくことが、僕にとっての「編集」の面白さです。

今回のイベントでは、Vintageを中心に様々なTrousersをご用意しました。

ぜひ穿き比べながら、ご自身にしっくりくる一本を見つけていただけたら嬉しいです。

皆さんの好きなTrousersについても、ゆっくりお話ししながら一緒に探せたらと思っています。

I believe styling is a form of editing.

Among all the elements of an outfit, I think trousers have the power to transform the overall impression with just a few centimeters of difference in silhouette.

Tops often take the spotlight, but in menswear, the range of garments isn't as broad as it is in womenswear.

That's why details matter so much—the width of the leg, the silhouette, the tone and weight of the fabric, the construction, the size of the pockets, or whether the hem is finished with a cuff or left plain.

When you start paying attention to these subtle differences, you realize just how much depth there is in a single pair of trousers.

For me, building a personal style through these small choices is what makes styling such an interesting form of editing.
