ABELIA EDOWARD GOUCHA
今週から、daily storeで新しく
ABELIA EDOWARD GOUCHAの取り扱いがスタートします。
今回、取り扱いを決めたきっかけは、
daily storeが提案するファッションの中に、もう少し「洋服って楽しいな」と思えるようなトリガーになるブランドがあってもいいんじゃないかと思ったことでした。
僕自身、今は比較的シンプルなスタイリングをすることが多いのですが、ABELIA EDOWARD GOUCHAの洋服を見ていると、20代前半の頃、洋服にどっぷりハマっていた時のことを思い出しました。
当時、めちゃくちゃ通っていた古着屋の系列に、ブランドをセレクトしているショップがあって。
古着を買っては、そこでブランドの洋服を買って……とにかく洋服を買いあさってました。笑
バイト代＝洋服代、くらいの感覚で、周りからちょっとドン引きされるくらい買っていた記憶があります。
実家暮らしで本当に助かりました……。
その頃から少しずつシンプルなアイテムも集めていたと思うのですが、それとは反対に、ちょっと変わったデザインの洋服を買うのもすごく好きでした。
一見すると合わせるのが難しそうな服を、シンプルな洋服と合わせてみる。
そのMIXがたまらなく好きで、いろいろな組み合わせを試していた気がします。
その時の感覚は、今でもなんとなく覚えています。
「これ、どうやって着ようかな」と考えたり、
「この服に合わせたら面白そう」と思ったり。
そういう時間も含めて、洋服って楽しいんだよな、と。
ABELIA EDOWARD GOUCHAは、今のdaily storeにとって、そんな感覚を思い出させてくれるブランドだと思っています。
普段シンプルな洋服を選ぶ方にも、いつものスタイリングに一つ加えることで、少し違った見え方を楽しんでもらえたら嬉しいです。
そして、昔の僕のように、洋服を選んだり、組み合わせたりすること自体を楽しむきっかけになってくれたら。
daily storeにとって、ファッションが楽しいと思えるトリガーのような存在になってくれたらいいなと思っています。

Starting this week, daily store will be carrying ABELIA EDOWARD GOUCHA.
One of the reasons we decided to introduce the brand is that we wanted to have something at daily store that could remind people how fun fashion can be.
I tend to wear fairly simple styles these days, but looking at ABELIA EDOWARD GOUCHA brings me back to my early twenties, when I was completely obsessed with clothes.
Back then, I used to spend almost all of my part-time job income on clothes. I would buy vintage pieces from my favorite stores, and then go straight to their select shop and buy more designer clothes. I was basically spending all my money on clothes. Thankfully, I was still living with my parents. Haha.
I loved simple clothes, but at the same time, I also loved pieces with unusual designs. Mixing those pieces with simple clothes was something I really enjoyed.
Thinking about how to wear something, or what to pair it with — that process itself was part of the fun.
ABELIA EDOWARD GOUCHA brings back that feeling for me.
I hope the brand can be a small trigger for discovering that sense of fun again, especially for those who usually prefer simple clothing.
